The guesthouse Zamek Zaborski is the only farm in a village called Kaszuba Wybudowanie, located 1 kilometer east of the village of Kaszuba and about 4 kilometers west of the village of Leśno.  It is situated between two rivers, Zbrzyca and Młosina. The little village of Leśno lies about 90 km south of Gdańsk and near the small town of Brusy.  Serving the needs of approximately 400 inhabitants, and also for the convenience of visitors, are little shops, a pharmacy, a post office and a historic Church.  In summertime the lakes of Leśno invite visitors to enjoy the beauty of nature and have a refreshing swim and the rivers beckon one to kayak along their winding courses..

Zamek Zaborski is easily reached by car, or you can arrange to be met at the airport, or nearby bus or train stations. Driving time from Gdansk is just under one and one half hours.

Coming from Gdańsk (from the north) ---> Kościerzyna -->  Lubnia
At the crossing in Lubnia, turn right-- follow the sign to Leśno
Coming from Chojnice (from the south)  -->  Lubnia
At the crossing in Lubnia, turn left--follow the sign to Leśno

In Leśno, after crossing the bridge, turn right at the three road crossing near our wooden church, Drive through the village and go about one kilometer,
At the (what word? lovely, lonely) red brick roadside shrine,
Take the fork to the left and almost immediately go left again onto the sand road(There is a field on the left and forest on the right),
Go 0.3 kilometers and take the first sand road forking right into the forest, follow the road for about 2 kilometers.
Zamek Zaborski will be the first building you see--on the left at the "T" in the road.

Many airlines serve the Warsaw airport.  LOT also flies into Gdańsk from Warsaw.  A word to the wise:  LOT (and most likely other airlines) will make connecting reservations with partner airlines (e.g. Minneapolis to Chicago) at a lower fare if the connecting reservation is made at the same time as the primary reservation and booked through LOT.
